Special Activities
Team members may choose from many activities to experience culture and adventure: hiking the Cerro del Cruz, hiking the volcano, a healing ceremony with a shaman, church, cooking class, shopping, watching processions, visiting women's co-ops, ziplining, and hiking.

El Dia De Los Muertos
We had a wonderful experience on November 2, 2024. We went out to Sumpango for the El Dia de Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) festivities. It is a day when most Latin countries celebrate their ancestors who have gone on to the next life. They visit the cemeteries, bringing food for everyone and have large kite festivals. All these kites are hand-made and hand-painted and were breathtakingly beautiful. There were also a good number of food and craft vendors. We had a great time!
