Nurse practitioner students provided family, adult, and women's clinics in Pocoxpon and San Miguel Dueñas. They also climbed an active volcano! We worked with Nursing Heart, Faith in Practice, and People for Guatemala.

These pre-licensure BSN students provided school health screenings and a foot care clinic in El Platanar, El Hato, and Santa Cruz la Laguna. They also donated and installed woodstoves in homes of families. This team barely made it out of Guatemala on time just as the U.S. was going into lockdown for Covid. So we had to cancel the five remaining 2020 planned trips and all seven planned trips for 2021. We worked with Nursing Heart, Dr. Craig Sinkinson, and Amilcar Vielman.
