In March 2025, a group of 17 dedicated individuals provided children and adult clinics in San Andrés Ceballos and Santiago de Zamora in rural Guatemala. Physical and dental health were assessed and promoted along with educational health promotion. The team also raised money for and installed fifteen wood stoves in the homes of families. They visited a women’s co-op and learned how the women raised money to support their families and the local school by selling their beautiful hand woven works of art. They checked on one of our school’s play equipment which has been moved to ascertain it is still safe for the children. This team donated many medications, treatments, toothbrushes, toothpaste, gifts for the women, and fun items for the children.
