The first group of Nurse Practitioner students were able to provide family, adult, and women's clinics in five villages in Guatemala. These included Los Magueyes, La Padrera, Tierra Colorado, Pacoj, and San Miguel Milpas Altas. This first group I still call my dream makers because they made my dreams of global nursing come true. I will never forget them and the gratitude I still have for their trust in me. We worked with other NGOs, such as Nursing Heart, Faith in Practice, Common Hope, and People For Guatemala.
